What is a doula?
Doulas are trained non-medical professionals who accompany and support families through pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period. Sometimes, doulas also provide emotional support through fertility treatments or prenatal or neonatal loss.
A doula is an advocate, someone who is knowledgeable of the physiological, psychological, hormonal and emotional changes that a woman goes through and can provide the tools for them to advocate for themselves.
A doula is a companion, whose fundamental responsibility is to offer uninterrupted support throughout the entire process, irrespective of the mother's choices or the method of delivery.
Your journey, your choices, our support.
